Weird reading the first one on AIDS (from singles.net):
The disease sounds very frightening. I had heard about it about two weeks ago. Seems like the public should be more aware of it. Anybody have any info on it?

Sounds like you were right on target, dammit!
My first post was helping somebody out regarding Front 242's _Evil Off_ tracklisting in early November 1993. MOST AUSPICIOUS. Then I made fun of someone posting about Pink Floyd on a.m.a., and was duly beaten down. *weeps*

Though I'll admit they made better records later.

A tad more embarrasing are my VERY first usenet music postings on rec.music.misc... Although Ned will certainly approve of one of them.

Most accurate, Brian.
I just stumbled across a 1994 thread about the Comsat Angels involving me and Glenn McDonald. Weird!

My first post - April 19, 1994.
I alternated between doing this, hanging around the UT radio station like some college DJ groupie, and playing SimCity 2000 on my Mac. I just had an out-of-time experience.

It's not possible to do it the way I wanted in the first place: I noticed for the webpage of Threads 101-200 the url ends with "start=100", webpage of Threads 201-300 ends with "start=200" etc up to "start=900". I tried to "hack" it by writing ex "start=1100" but got the error message :"Sorry, Google does not serve more than 1000 results for any query. (You asked for results starting from 1100.)"
