Laguna Beach landslide

I knew something was up this morning when on the way to work a dozen fire trucks AND the O.C.F.D. mobile command post hauled into town. Anyway, the slide was only a mile or so away from Casa Telecom and the park where I used to play in when I was in elementary school is now the evacuation center.

On the other hand, the slide area has always been unstable with poor drainage and dense-pack housing. I remember the huge slide there in 1978 - anyway, we've had three elemental apocalypses with Fire, Water, and now Earth. Air is on the way.
