This is one of many murals on the bus-only lane in the Sodo district of Seattle (just south of downtown), which I took on the way to SeaTac airport to go to Vegas last Friday. It's all by itself on the street. There are many more murals besides this, and I plan to take part of a future summer weekend day to just taking pics along this street for its own thread.

But for the time being, I want to do some induction here. Why this image? Why these characters? Just... why?

All i can say is: "PICKLEBOARD MASCOT!", but I'm probably projecting here.
