The host at a party I was at last night had an Australian Blue Tongue lizard.

I'm not usually super reptile friendly, but Stumpy seemd a nice beast and he hung out on my shoulder for a while. Later the host slipped me a banana and I put Stumpy on the mantelpiece and fed it to him. He was a ravenous little glutton.
