Alan Trewartha, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

A job with a good salary, a decent (but not impossible) increase in resposibility, a boss I get on with. All starting at the end of january so I can spend 6 weeks relaxing without the asociated guilt.

I'd love a carefree life for my loved ones next year. This year was quite eventful. Sadly also in the negative sense. Bah!

electric bass guitar and a complete personality/appearance overhaul

Menelaus Darcy, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

anything i want at the moment, beacause i am unemployed and broke (largely self inflicted). however you might narrow it down by saying i would like some heated grips and new rider clothing for my lovely motorcycle, a multi port sound card and some ram for my machine and an acoustic guitar. seeing as we have four guitars in the house already, and i'm shit, the last can wait.

mike, ever come across an international 4600? i am lucky enough to own one (1973 maplin kit built monophonic synth, 2 ocillators, envelope, 2 transients, amps, ring modulators, reverb and high, low and band pass filters). i have the original instructions for construction, which is well handy as it has developed electronic senility regarding keyboard voltage control.

i would also like companionship, but seeing as how that seems to cost my friends loads of money, i guess i shall rule it out for now. *sob*.

I want more responsible friends, less bitching and moaning about unfixable things and more getting on with it, and absolutely no family bothering me besides the handful I like. I just don't know how to buy those things. Also: less stomachache.

Ally, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

never played that anotherjames. but there are many obscure beautiful little analog synths out there. so many synths, so little time

mike hanle y, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ally, buy peppermint tea! drinking it = less stomachache. mind you, it tastes like shit.

katie, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i'm with alan!

and bjork. just to keep around. and pet on the head occasionally. (i'd still let her make music, of course.)

jess, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

A Jaguar. One of those nice old pre-CBS Fender ones from the early 60s. Or even just a reissue! I mean, it's not like I can afford any of them. And a sampler. And ProTools. And with that goes, well, a computer capable of *running* ProTools.

kate, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I want 2 turntables and a microphone.

If only to come to terms with all of the people who see my sampler and say "look a DJ!". There's already a DJ Honda I know. oh well.

Honda, Wednesday, 12 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

A small house in a decent neighborhood here in San Francisco. I'd even live in the Sunset. Just please don't make me live in an overpriced studio the rest of my life.
