OK,
so this is the night before I leave,
I am off to live with my friend Sarah.
I am scared.
this is the thread where you talk about when you first left home.

I left home to go to college, where I lived in a dorm with a roommate, so it didn't really seem like the real world. I was really homesick for stove cooked meals though.

when i finally arrived my new home (well in university) i made myself feel bad for 5 minutes just because it seemed obligatory. and then i drank myself stupid and flirted with girls.

when i first left home, i took nearly everything i had. it felt like home straightaway, i was living with a very close friend, and i had everything that was mine with me. it felt more like home than home did!

i never recaptured that with subsequent houses, though they have all been fine more or less. i do still have nostalgia for that place/time on occasion.

now im the opposite, i pretty much live out of a bag, i have no records or cds with me, a few clothes and books, laptop, cheburashka, thats about it. i dont mind though, i like feeling mobile

I moved in with my best friend at the age of 20. When moving day came, we opened the door, went inside & then screamed whilst rolling about on the floor. Moving out for the first time was ace! Have fun!
