In the El Gordo, Loteria Primavera, which I never even entered! But a Spanish-stamped envelope just arrived, with a signed letter from Don Antonio Myer, informing me that all I have to do is fax him all my banking information, and I can claim my cash! But keep it on the hush! "Due to mix up of some numbers," I must "keep this award from public notice." Gosh, I'm so lucky!

Send it to that fellow in Nigeria.

Damn you, joe sucker!

At least have the decency not to rub your good fortune in the faces of all of us still sitting here at cheap desks, watching our lives slip by one email at a time, reviewing all TPS reports for cover-sheet compliance...

I am so lucky! I could not help but share! Thank you, Don Antonio Myer, and the certainly non-identity theft scam El Gordo Loteria Primitiva!

I wonder if $850,960 is the exact balance point between being too large to be believable (like $800 BILLION), and being too small to be worth the risk of giving up your banking information (like $20).

That's pretty cool, joe! I won a free 1 liter Dr. Pepper product from two different bottlecaps recently, but I've discovered that it's kind of a scam. The liquor store near me charged 25 cents for something called "CA redemption value." Sounds like some kind of scam. Don't fall for it.
