Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:35 (twenty years ago)

Where are you going? This is sad. Yes, I'll be there.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:35 (twenty years ago)

Vancouver, hopefully!

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:43 (twenty years ago)

Why hopefully? Don't you know?

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:46 (twenty years ago)

Good grief. That's miles away. I don't approve of this plan at all.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:46 (twenty years ago)

(Adam there are wheels within wheels and stuff! I am definitely in Massechussets for two months, though, and then CO and WA and then probably BC after that but like the plan was Toronto even a month ago so uncounted chickens etc etc)

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:55 (twenty years ago)

i thought you were going to SUMMER CAMP, Gregz?

you should just move to Denver instead

Homosexual II (Homosexual II), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:55 (twenty years ago)

(If it's a nice day we could hit a park maybe first? I have a crate of superposh wine I got paid for juggling at a ball, people should drink it at some point)

x-post Mandee Massechussets IS the summercamp!

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 21:58 (twenty years ago)

i cant make it, i wont be in england. id liked to have come as well

charltonlido (gareth), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 22:02 (twenty years ago)

I approve of the park plans, definitely. Like Martin, I don't approve of the emigration plans as much!

The Lex (The Lex), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 22:06 (twenty years ago)

Emigrating is fun!

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 22:11 (twenty years ago)

Hey! You're not comming to Toronto?

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 22:48 (twenty years ago)

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 22:49 (twenty years ago)

caitlin oh no (caitxa1), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 22:51 (twenty years ago)

Here! I just mailed Remy about this, actually.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 23:22 (twenty years ago)

Hey G dude, bring wine to Coram's Fields, which is conveniently situated halfway between my place of work and the Calthorpe. If it's sunny an'ting.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 9 June 2005 10:24 (twenty years ago)

,,,but isn't that a kiddie's park where you need a smallfry under 16 with you to get in at all?

There is a lovely little parklet next to the Calthorpe, and also Calthorpe Gardens further on down Gray's Inn Road.

suzy (suzy), Thursday, 9 June 2005 10:27 (twenty years ago)

I may not be able to make this! :( Are you leaving Tuesday? Also--you are going to be about 1.5 hours drive from where my mom lives in MA. You should visit her, she has a nice house in a cool little town.

sgs (sgs), Thursday, 9 June 2005 10:28 (twenty years ago)

Small-fry park only? Flipping grasping youth! Well, there's Brunswick Sq and Bloomsbury Sq and Russell Sq and and and...the pavement with a 2l bottle of White Lightning.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 9 June 2005 10:33 (twenty years ago)

Are we still raving it on Saturday Gr? I'm sort of up for it if enough people are!

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 9 June 2005 10:36 (twenty years ago)

,,,but isn't that a kiddie's park where you need a smallfry under 16 with you to get in at all?

greg would have no problem here.

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 9 June 2005 10:40 (twenty years ago)

i think he's teaching FIRE JUGGLIN' at this camp, not attending as a camper

Homosexual II (Homosexual II), Thursday, 9 June 2005 11:58 (twenty years ago)

Marianna and I are up for rave aktion on Saturday.

The Lex (The Lex), Thursday, 9 June 2005 13:02 (twenty years ago)

Did y'all not the email, about Saturday? Bloody gmail. Anyway the point is stuff is ON and it's exciting!

(Sarah I'm leaving on friday I think! Things will just be mad busy after Mon)

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Thursday, 9 June 2005 19:52 (twenty years ago)

Grav, I'm really up for this although at the moment I'm in two minds as I@m not entirely sure my brain (not to mention my wallet) can quite take the beating of an all night rave as I've been seriously down about money recently and I've been needing to sort my head out. That's not to say I@m not going so I will let you know a lot nearer the time mate.

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 9 June 2005 23:27 (twenty years ago)

Dude I still owe you money from the last one, with the wallet fiasco! Stuff will be on me, I have useless unchanged pounds etc etc. (Totally up to you obv obv would understand etc)

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Thursday, 9 June 2005 23:35 (twenty years ago)

What do people think about times?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Friday, 10 June 2005 02:37 (twenty years ago)

:(

spontine (cis), Friday, 10 June 2005 03:53 (twenty years ago)

What do people think about times?

It's a better read than telegraph or guardian.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Friday, 10 June 2005 05:13 (twenty years ago)

My idea of the right time to start drinking at the Calthorpe on a Monday = about 5.15.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 10 June 2005 09:25 (twenty years ago)

I can start drinking on Monday afternoon in a park.

The Lex (The Lex), Friday, 10 June 2005 09:31 (twenty years ago)

Don't Go!

(since when have outdoor urinals been used in parts of England, btw?)

Alba (Alba), Friday, 10 June 2005 12:14 (twenty years ago)

Argh, I thought there was a FAP on Tuesday night, so I booked my job interview for then... am I going insane? Or are there FAPs every night next week?

The Square Root Of Negative Two (kate), Friday, 10 June 2005 12:17 (twenty years ago)

Bump

The Calthorpe? What time and stuff? Boy G?

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 13 June 2005 09:35 (twenty years ago)

I'll appear once I've altered my present hobo-esque appearance. What's the craic?

Negativa, True Believer (You know you love it when I'm dressed in drag) (Barima), Monday, 13 June 2005 09:42 (twenty years ago)

I might not be able to make this so Bon Voyage Greg.

Sociah T Azzahole (blueski), Monday, 13 June 2005 09:54 (twenty years ago)

I'm going to make the assumption that the plan is this:

Calthorpe Arms from 6pm onwards.

I will be late, however.

marianna lcl (marianna lcl), Monday, 13 June 2005 11:09 (twenty years ago)

I'm afraid I have had a weekend of extreme emotional turbulence, and I don't think I'm going to feel at all up to getting out tonight. Sorry, Greg. I second the bon voyage wishes, and hope you'll still be around on ILX on your travels.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 13 June 2005 11:27 (twenty years ago)

Likewise, I am sorry, but I shall not make it, as it was hard enough walking up the hill to the web cafe after the strenuous exertion of yesterday... ooh, my aching thighs...

The Square Root Of Negative Two (kate), Monday, 13 June 2005 11:32 (twenty years ago)

!!

ken c (ken c), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:04 (twenty years ago)

Walking to Southall for curry, Ken, you filthmonger. I am also suffering.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:06 (twenty years ago)

i won't be able to make it either i'm afraid (going to be making my thighs hurt). have a good trip though!

ken c (ken c), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:06 (twenty years ago)

Maybe we should just tell people that our country walks are really secret orgies. Then more people would want to come along. ;-)

(And The Spy would be happy because the paths would be littered with condoms.)

The Square Root Of Negative Two (kate), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:27 (twenty years ago)

Okay I am awake and here now! MATTERS ARE IN HAND

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:31 (twenty years ago)

The weather is still nice, so shall we say "6.30 in the Parklet by the Calthorpe unless it's raining, in which case the Calthorpe?". There will be champagne.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:33 (twenty years ago)

Okay, is the parklet suzy means the one next to Wren Street on this map?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Monday, 13 June 2005 12:51 (twenty years ago)

I'd have thought that's it - just over side road from Calthorpe.
I may have to bail or at least just attend v briefly, G. Am knackered and need to take books to the library!

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 13 June 2005 13:20 (twenty years ago)

Champagne! :(

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Monday, 13 June 2005 13:22 (twenty years ago)

Can't make it but hello everyone. Saturday night raving kicked loads of arse Grav, all the best!

dog latin (dog latin), Monday, 13 June 2005 13:24 (twenty years ago)

I'll be there. Saturday night was indeed excellent despite awful grumpiness on my part. Am not grumpy at all today!

The Lex (The Lex), Monday, 13 June 2005 13:26 (twenty years ago)

Can you bring me champagne in my office now G? I just got out of a meeting and have minutes to type that would be enlivened no end by a glass of bubbly.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 13 June 2005 13:29 (twenty years ago)

this sounds like fun. unfortunately, i have to be somewhere at 7 so it doesn't seem likely for me. boo.

lauren (laurenp), Monday, 13 June 2005 13:31 (twenty years ago)

Final bump because leaving now! My mobile is 07879496916 in case of ruin.
