No thread on Being Pamela? C4 Wed

Hmm, possibly not...

Anyway, there seems to be a split opinion amongst my colleagues as to the methods of Judy's care.

I firmly believe that the woman was doing her very best despite the lack of understanding and treatments of the illness.

I think she was perhaps a little inconsistent in her handling of the episodes in which Pamela 'became' another character.
At times she appeared to be encouraging the behaviour, but at other times she was actively denying the other characters and firmly telling Pamela to put them away and realise that they damaging and unwanted.

I didn't think too much about it until the part Judy had asked them to cut, and they didn't give much of a clue as to what had happened and why it couldn't be shown. From that point until the end was quite unsatisfactory, I thought.

Yeah, that's still needling me. Perhaps Pamela attacked her? But neither seemed particularly flustered when the scene continued.

Unless Judy said something fucking awful and insensitive then felt ashamed immediately.

Other than that I can't possibly imagine what might have gone on.
