"Crazy Frog" - An Exercise in Applied Probability

It seems likely that we'll soon need a phrase - equivalent to "Godwin's Law" - for the number of posts a thread will receive before somebody invokes the Crazy Frog. Would any mathematicians like to speculate on the Probability of Crazy Frog appearing in any particular thread category within, say, 50 replies?

If I'm in a car going 60 mph in Crazy Frog's direction and you're Crazy Frog on a motorcycle going 75 mph in my direction, how long until one of us inadvertently starts harboring real feelings and what is the magnitude of our heartbreak and subsequent distrust for the opposite sex?

Please answer in the form of a question.

(P.S. - I'll meet you behind the tool shed.)

They are very different -- the idea is to *not* invoke Godwin's Law, while the opposite seems to be true for the Crazy Frog Principle. Mathematically, we're talking about completely distinct thread topologies.

Yeah, I did realise that but was struggling for an analogy.

Getting it on with the Crazy Frog might be tricky cos there's a small black rectangle that follows him round obscuring his genitals.

Ahh, but noodle, I've only seen it uncensored!

It's not a very big rectangle.

Actually I don't think frogs have penises. I was annoyed at the biological inaccuracy - this could mislead a whole generation of kids.

THAT IS SLANDER.

(I don't even know what/who Crazy Frog is.)

Crazy Frog has been #1 in the UK charts in the past two weeks. It's a ringtone released as a single where this animated frog creature imitates a motorcycle over a sped up version of the theme for Beverly Hills Cop. It's as nutty as it sounds, and it was outselling Coldplay's "Speed of Sound" 4 to 1. xpost
