i've actually never posted here, and have read it for months, but this was so maddening to me I had to finally debut with this post, (my roomie does all the time), but I was there for the MFR thing on sunday playing in one of the bands. had a great time, had been in the past, but kinda been turned off by the rockabilly flavor, tude of the barstaff, this time however was terrible. firstly I am gay, so I was one of the people officially "bashed" as it were, but this one dude, who was friends with the barstaff and a regular kept staring at uh, he pushed me out of the way when I left the bathroom and scoffed, meanwhile the bartended was the rudest fuck ever. then the dude from the bathroom line came back and loudly said to his friend and the bartender so we could hear, "I guess it's faggot night here tonight huh?" and they all laughed and basically looked at us, to give us the hint. YEAH WE GET IT BITCH. where is you cherry tattoo. what a fuck. Then he told another one of my friends who is straight and married that he was a fag too! totally FUCKED UP, yes it was technically a customer, but the bartender was totally in on it/laughing and when I tried to be nice to him complimenting his drink, he just started at me and essentially rolled his eyes. why I gave him a tip I don't know. anyhow, DO NOT GO BACK. Please spread the word. they do not deserve anyone's business. ASSSSHOLES. i'd only go back if it were promised to be a NON rockabilly homophone event like the 'sup event, WHICH was a blast despite the heat....
