I don't see another thread on this subject, though god knows what it might be titled, so apologies if already discussed.

WTF?

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:49 (twenty years ago)

this has got to be a joke.

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:53 (twenty years ago)

I wonder if you soak them in a glass of water next to your bed at night.

This is the new Dr Who baddie.

Sociah T Azzahole (blueski), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:54 (twenty years ago)

That's what I'm hoping! xpost, re: this has got to be a joke

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:55 (twenty years ago)

Just to be safe, I'm going to cut back on the raping for a couple of weeks.

n/a (Nick A.), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:56 (twenty years ago)

You beat me to posting it, Ally. I was just reading about it in the WFMU blog.

Ian Riese-Moraine: exposing ambitious careerists as charlatans since 1986. (East, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:57 (twenty years ago)

Wow. Real life vagina dentata.

(Would I have to brush the 'teeth' to keep it in working order?)

Jacqui Pickles (Jacqui Pickles), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:57 (twenty years ago)

pics, please

The Sensational Sulk (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:57 (twenty years ago)

If South Africa didn't have a truly horrific crime rate, by all accounts, then I would see it as a bizarre joke.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:57 (twenty years ago)

Soooo a joke. Please.

Imagine if you forgot to take it out on the (apparently few?) occasions when you WEREN'T about to be raped.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 14:59 (twenty years ago)

I give it about 30 days before a fetish community grows around it.

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:00 (twenty years ago)

The thing that my friend and I were discussing was that it doesn't seem to have a lot of afterthought to it...I mean once the rapist, not exactly a bastion of stability and pacifism to begin with, discovers that he's got some contraption embedded in his penis, wouldn't this make him more prone to violence against the victim? WTF?

XPOST yes we also had a laugh about that, "Oops, sorry honey, that's just my anti-rapist vaginal teeth!"

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:00 (twenty years ago)

Bitches be wantin' it.

Jimmy Mod Is Great At Getting Us Into Trouble (ModJ), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:01 (twenty years ago)

And what about the asshole model?

Austin Still (Austin, Still), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:02 (twenty years ago)

"Once the rapist realises this device is attached to him, he is more than likely to take his anger out on his victim."

MASSIVE UNDERSTATEMENT

Huk-L, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:04 (twenty years ago)

Really? I thought if you showed some resistance some rapists (not all) would back off because they don't really like a struggle.

Ian Riese-Moraine: exposing ambitious careerists as charlatans since 1986. (East, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:11 (twenty years ago)

I don't think there's any handbook for rapists, and I'm not sure that premise is at all functional, since it sort of implies that most women who get raped are giving some sort of tacit consent.

Huk-L, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:14 (twenty years ago)

Ian wtf planet did you fall from to spout that fuckin' nonsense?

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:18 (twenty years ago)

Remember how you were correcting me this weekend, when I said I saw Henry "a couple of times" but I really meant I saw him like 4 or 5 times and you said that was "a few," but if you take "a few" and then add "a couple," that would be "several" and then if you add "a few" to that, it'd be "some"? That's what he means. 11 rapists.

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:20 (twenty years ago)

Other headline on that page - "Harare trumpets success in AIDS battle"

Perhaps this device goes by the name of "The Harare Trumpet". As does my new indie band that I've just formed, just now.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:21 (twenty years ago)

Put a stick up 1st like you’re testing a bear trap, then when all’s clear rape away.

Thread title could’ve been called “fanny teeth”

not-goodwin (not-goodwin), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:22 (twenty years ago)

And make sure you floss regularly.

Penelope_111 (Penelope_111), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:24 (twenty years ago)

Anyway all this is making me think of is that part in Ninja Scroll where the poison taster girl is raped by the huge bald dude, and it turns out not only is she immune to poison, she's got poisonous privates, so the next day when Jubei has to fight the giant bald dude (who has turned into The Thing) dude's rocky skin starts to fall apart and he eventually gets his head split in half by his own weapon and there's a tremendous amount of cartoon blood, all because he raped the poison taster, and got his ass poisoned, the dumb mother fucker.

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:26 (twenty years ago)

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. You forgot about the part where she's supposed to have sex with the other dude because whatever ailment he has is apparently cured by vagina poison.

I didn't say it at the time, but I kind of thought that was the stupidest movie you've ever made me watch. Even worse than Fantastic Planet.

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:28 (twenty years ago)

Although looking at the cover for Fantastic Planet again I'm not entirely sure I'm correct in that assessment.

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Wednesday, 15 June 2005 15:29 (twenty years ago)

I can see that whatever chance ILx had for a serious and far-ranging discussion of this unique crime-fighting tool has beeen squandered in favor of the foregoing. When will you people learn to behave less like children and more like sufferers from aplastic anemia?
