The thing that my friend and I were discussing was that it doesn't seem to have a lot of afterthought to it...I mean once the rapist, not exactly a bastion of stability and pacifism to begin with, discovers that he's got some contraption embedded in his penis, wouldn't this make him more prone to violence against the victim? WTF?

I don't think there's any handbook for rapists, and I'm not sure that premise is at all functional, since it sort of implies that most women who get raped are giving some sort of tacit consent.

Remember how you were correcting me this weekend, when I said I saw Henry "a couple of times" but I really meant I saw him like 4 or 5 times and you said that was "a few," but if you take "a few" and then add "a couple," that would be "several" and then if you add "a few" to that, it'd be "some"? Anyway all this is making me think of is that part in Ninja Scroll where the poison taster girl is raped by the huge bald dude, and it turns out not only is she immune to poison, she's got poisonous privates, so the next day when Jubei has to fight the giant bald dude (who has turned into The Thing) dude's rocky skin starts to fall apart and he eventually gets his head split in half by his own weapon and there's a tremendous amount of cartoon blood, all because he raped the poison taster, and got his ass poisoned, the dumb mother fucker.
