Since that's how I read the manbag thread title.

Um. I think bangs on men is bad. Also, my hair is too thin in front to grow them anymore, so I probly have repressed envy.

manbags>>>>manbangs

The only defense I can think of is that sometimes they aren't intentional maybe.

Oh god, wait till the Blur fans wake up.

Rufus 3000 (Mr Noodles), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:10 (twenty years ago)

Oh oh oh! i thought of a defense. they're better than that thing that was on every hipsters head 5 years ago and everybody's else's head 2 years ago where make your hair stand up in front, but only the forelock.

Hunter (Hunter), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:13 (twenty years ago)

Sooner or later i will insult everyone hairdo and the truth will be more evident than ever: I'm a bitter balding bastard.

Hunter (Hunter), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:14 (twenty years ago)

Oh god, wait till the Blur fans wake up

Do they hate Emo Phillips or something?

Hunter (Hunter), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:15 (twenty years ago)

damon albarn used to have an amazing spray of bangs

Homosexual II (Homosexual II), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:25 (twenty years ago)

I don't know if I can conjure up a defense. I guess it depends on the particular bang. What about SIDESWEPT bangs?

gunther heartymeal (keckles), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:25 (twenty years ago)

My last three serious relationships had bangs. What does it mean?

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:26 (twenty years ago)

THOSE AREN'T PROPER BANGS!

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:33 (twenty years ago)

anything that hangs over forehead QUALIFIES AS BANGS IN MY WORLD

Homosexual II (Homosexual II), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:35 (twenty years ago)

That is BANG singular, like ONE BANG. It's a sliver.

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:35 (twenty years ago)

I wish I could scan in a picture of me at 5 years old. Picture 1974 John Denver hair, but er, somehow even bang-ier!

So now it's deep rooted resentment about my childhood.

Hunter (Hunter), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:39 (twenty years ago)

THESE are proper bangs:

I have a side-cowlick now, wtf

gabbneb (gabbneb), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:40 (twenty years ago)

What is a "side-cowlick"? It stands up on one side?

My hair at some point crossed a crucial thinness tipping point, such that now whenever I wake in the morning I have this wretched bedhead what looks like that Prodigy bloke.

Hunter (Hunter), Thursday, 16 June 2005 03:47 (twenty years ago)

If I wore bangs there would be a hard time being able to actually see anything from my perspective.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 16 June 2005 05:19 (twenty years ago)

Rodney Bingenheimer springs to mind.

I saw that 'Mayor of Sunset Strip' film on a recent flight, and was struck how Rodney's hair looks 30 years younger than he does.

Bob Six (bobbysix), Thursday, 16 June 2005 06:07 (twenty years ago)

Wow. Cool flight.

Rickey Wright (Rrrickey), Thursday, 16 June 2005 06:44 (twenty years ago)

That is BANG singular, like ONE BANG. It's a sliver.

She's right.

giboyeux (skowly), Thursday, 16 June 2005 06:48 (twenty years ago)

Wait a second, when Americans say 'bangs' do they just mean a fringe?

emil.y (emil.y), Thursday, 16 June 2005 09:42 (twenty years ago)

yeah if they run the whole way across the front of your head then it's just a fringe and not bangs

bangs look like this, no?
