With all the geeky fun to be had with the extended Google archive of usenet they have a page of links to historically interesting threads. How about some ile-type threads of some historical interest. oh bollocks, post any old thread.

we can have somethin like "I WUV 1997" the usenet version of *those* shows that we love to hate.

ARGH argh argh argh ARGH argh ARGH *to* not *too*. My excuse is that it was going to say "to, too" and then I thought that that was a bit clumsy and I took out the wrong one before sticking "as well" in. FOOL.

PLUS I just went to look at ukma again after a few months of not checking news and DAMMIT if the biggest cockfarmer I knew at university hasn't started posting. Now I'm in a bad mood. I'm quite tempted to restart the cockfarmer thread, except I might have to be nice to him next term if I go back (sigh sigh sigh) and I'm a wuss.

Nick: oh. I didn't know that. I assumed that letting them wrap would break them. Thus I went to great trouble to make them fit. Once again, I am a FOOL. Thanks for the correction, I'll be very glad of it next time round...
