I just said to my colleague "I wonder if you can get both the US and UK versions." He pointed out that I was an idiot.

I want one.

Why don't you just get some Whiteout/Tipex and paint over the characters on your current keyboard?

When I learned how to type, we got little stickers to put over the letters and such.

What this advertises is not "I am a geek" (if you have an optical mouse or a wireless keyboard, I might accept your ubergeek status) but "I can waste money on things which are more easily accomplished other ways" which is a Finance Department trait. Humph.

I like the idea of the different weightings for different keys. I'm not sure if I'd like the idea if I had to use one, though.

In this office, having a wireless keyboard or an optical mouse is more a sign that you are good at whining than anything else. I used to have a wireless optical mouse attached to this machine, but got fed up of its unreliability, and having to change the batteries. Plus, optical mice really don't like my black vinyl desk surface.

Someone should get a grand piano and wire it up to a PS/2 socket. Mmm, weighted.

Along similar lines, this is a rather nice idea.
