...and not in a moral/ethical sense. And if your life now is different than your idea of a good life, what's preventing you from leading the life you want?

my life right now is a good life (working, oh, 4-8 hours a day in a maritime history museum and learning to cook). it's awesome. it can't really last though, because a) i'm an intern, not an employee, so eight more weeks and i'm OUT! and b) i'm still in training, what if i turn out to be really horrible at it?

also, having friends or a boyfriend here would be nice, but i've only been here a week and met a few people.

I'm living a good life but not my ideal life. But for love, it's a trade I'm happy to make.

Rock Hardy (Rock Hardy), Saturday, 25 June 2005 01:08 (twenty years ago)

I think my life's prett good, but if I could own a home, and have a job that didnt kill me/bore me shitless, I'd be very happy indeed.

The grass always being greener, there is no such thing as a good life.

A good life:

a) little/no debt
b) a few good friends
c) a not very stressful job
d) things to do
