They started airing them about 10 years ago or so, when all the "information superhighway" hype was going strong. Anybody else realize that you can pretty much do everything now that is demonstrated in those commercials?

Wasn't that the point of the ads? (Just not that it would solely be AT&T doing them.)

I know these ads a little too well as they are all over my MST3K tapes from the time.
