I would suggest that this is not 100% true. The only thing I notice that gums up the server is changing thread or board permissions (banning).

I guess the thread (previous) was aimed at me.
I started a "Thread Two" on the London Explosions, as I wanted to keep up with news, but the server was "poxyfuling" halfway through thread loading. This does not broadcast the familiar message, it stops the thread loading. Press refresh, the thread does the same thing. And of course, while I may be not getting to the info, many other people are being 'poxyfuled' as well.
A short thread is quicker to load than a long one, even given the 'show last 20' option, right?
Normally I'd apol. But fuck it, this one was too important.
