Never got to a hundred - even with the crap counting near the end.
The London Nobody Knows is still not available on DVD it seems. This is a shame. If anyone ever stumbles upon a copy in any format please let me know.

Gareth - I still have your copy of The London Nobody Knows. It's excellent, if completley mad ("and here's a handy egg-breaking factory.") Text me and get it back.

or send it to me.

The 1956 Man Who Knew Too Much gives good London. Also Christie Malry's Own Double-Entry.
― Noodle Vague, Sunday, 9 September 2007 11:42 (eighteen years ago)
a fair amount of early hitchcock: 'the lodger', 'the ring', 'blackmail', 'rich and strange', 'sabotage'.
heh:

We saw a mocked-up set for that Reign of Fire movie at Disneyland. That was nice too. Also the third Tomb Raider game if that's the one with the Underground levels.

The Bells Go Down Up the Junction A Kid for 2 Farthings
"Maggie Muggins" by Keith Waterhouse would make a great film

> The Bells Go Down
an odd but great choice. Tommy Trinder mugging like Arthur 'Where's Me Washboard?' Atkinson most of the way through but come the last reel...
Waterloo Bridge, duh!
watched The Sorcerors on sunday, Boris Karloff doing mind control on Ian Olgivy all over 1967 NW8. (um, NW8 appears on business card in the film, Kensington mentioned on IMDB)
― koogs, Monday, 10 September 2007 13:47 (eighteen years ago)
I have a copy of London Nobody Knows.
― admrl, Monday, 10 September 2007 14:28 (eighteen years ago)
It's mostly interiors, but I would also nominate The Servant. Very London.

Damn, didn't see DavidM already bagged Piccadilly.
So I replace it with 99. Lifeforce

THE HORROR, pretty girl has sexual repression disorder, lives in all-female environment, keeps rotting rabbit-head as pet, ends up killing a load of men and then herself as well, everyone is all ;_;. Apologies if I missed some deep-lying complexity, but as a character-study it was one-dimensional and unsatisfying, and as a horror movie it was fairly yawnsome.
You just like it for Deneuve, ADMIT IT. Gosh, it would have been a handy bit of casting, being one of those extras who sticks their arms through the wall and gets to touch her up, amirite?
― Just got offed, Monday, 10 September 2007 19:03 (eighteen years ago)

LNK that is not Finisterre (which is also excellent and having know seen LNK I can see why they wanted to do something similar).
