Ten years ago, when Heat was first released, I went to see it at the cinema, and forgot I had a cadbury's creme egg in the pocket of my jeans until the end credits. By which time it wasn't an egg any more, it was a nasty brown and yellow and white splurge all over my thigh and down my leg and even into my socks. I had to walk half a mile home to change my trousers. That wasn't fun.
