I've shaved my face smooth twice in the last 23 years, hated it both times. The beard is where it's at.

Rock Hardy (Rock Hardy), Wednesday, 13 July 2005 00:31 (twenty years ago)

Shaving off a full beard can mean some weird tan lines.

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:29 (twenty years ago)

i, too, no longer have a beard.

cancer prone fat guy (dubplatestyle), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:30 (twenty years ago)

I just shaved my "beard" off.

gbx (skowly), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:30 (twenty years ago)

I too, have become a beardo. I haven't done any kind of shaping or grooming, I'm just going to let it grow until I can't take it any more or get arrested for looking like a vagrant.

Erick Dampier is better than Shaq (miloaukerman), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:31 (twenty years ago)

gear (gear), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:32 (twenty years ago)

i have "stubble" at the moment, but that's mostly from not wanting to buy razors

cancer prone fat guy (dubplatestyle), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:32 (twenty years ago)

I've been thinking about growing a winter beard, but I've been...hesitating. Maybe I don't want it enough.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:33 (twenty years ago)

I started growing a winter beard for the third consecutive winter. But it was itching over the holidays... And I start to think about the psychological shock of spring time beard shaving.. So I went ahead and shaved it off.

Polysix Bad Battery (cprek), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:38 (twenty years ago)

cancer prone fat guy (dubplatestyle), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:40 (twenty years ago)

Nathalie (stevie nixed), Friday, 30 December 2005 19:54 (twenty years ago)

I've had a beard for about to month. It's hard to trim, but it makes me look mean.

beard dandruff: what to do, what to do?

jaxon (jaxon), Sunday, 1 January 2006 03:27 (twenty years ago)

If the beard's new or kinda short, it might go away once the hair's longer. And you might want to try a dandruff shampoo.

If something over-the-counter doesn't work, consult with a dermatologist. You might get a prescription for a medicated shampoo like Loprox, or something mousse-like such as Luxiq or Olux.

Of course, these guys could probably be much more useful on this or any other beard-related subject than I could ever be.

beard dandruff: what to do, what to do?
-- jaxon (jaso...), December 31st, 2005.

Embrace it. Make it your own. Think of it as yet another gift from your beard to you.
