RFI From German Speakers

Does anybody know the German word for the pastry that we call a Danish, but that the Danes call wienerbrød-"bread from Vienna"? You see, I want to chase it down and know what they call it in Vienna. Somebody once told me it was das Plundergebäck, but somebody else is challenging that, saying "No, you don't say that."

Apparently all of Scandinavia attributes these to Vienna, as Google tells me that Finns call them "Tanskalainen wiener," is that right, Tuomas?

what does Plunder mean in that context? I remember reading that Plunder came into English as what we call plunder during the English Civil War... did it have a different meaning originally in German?

I'm not very good at German, but according to my dictionary Plunder means "junk, rubbish" in modern German.
