Twenty years ago, the first two exams were mostly basic probability and statistics -- the word was that anyone who'd taken at least a couple prob/stat courses in college would have an easy time of it. The third exam (and beyond) are supposedly much harder. Sorry I don't have any more current info. . .assume SOAA has a site somewhere, you might check there.
