It would be far more useful to have a 'home' button in your car.

I'd like a home button just under my left arm pit. Tap it and you're home. This is the future. Left handed people would have the button their right hand side.

Never on this computer. Sometimes at work, though, because I have it set to my company's website, which I frequently need to use for work. So you know, I'm on some other site, and I need to look something up, so I hit Home. I guess I could set it as a bookmark instead, but I'm kinda lazy about that.

jaymc (jaymc), Sunday, 24 July 2005 16:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I use it all the time, because I have it set to google.

My now rarely used Internet Explorer browser has home set for Fark.com. It's kinda fun every once and awhile to go back and pretend like it's Spring, 2001.

Pleasant Plains /// (Pleasant Plains ///), Sunday, 24 July 2005 19:07 (twenty-one years ago)

With a googlebar built in my browser, I never go home.

Tumililingan (ex machina), Sunday, 24 July 2005 19:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Never, because it only updates once each day, and I check it when I open a new browser window in the morning. It's provided me with some cool desktop images. (Astronomy Photo of the Day)

kit brash (kit brash), Sunday, 24 July 2005 22:31 (twenty-one years ago)

never. I removed it.

älänbänänä (alanbanana), Sunday, 24 July 2005 22:34 (twenty-one years ago)

all the time, it's set to yahoo. i don't like google cuz it's too bare, and I'd miss yahoo's passive aggressive liberal bashing headlines

tremendoid (tremendoid), Monday, 25 July 2005 00:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Mine's set to Yahoo too. I have the Google toolbar for when I need to Google.

o. nate (onate), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Matthew C Perpetua (inca), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:30 (twenty-one years ago)

to clarify my answer, i always set my home page to blank

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:35 (twenty-one years ago)

also, i use firefox w/built-in google search (or safari w/same)

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:35 (twenty-one years ago)

I have the google bar on my Firefox too, but I never use it, in part because it doesn't include the image search option.

Matthew C Perpetua (inca), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:42 (twenty-one years ago)

You can add it, y'know. I've got Google, Google News, Google Images, Froogle, Wikipedia, IMDB, AllMusic (artists, songs and albums) and six or seven others I don't use as much.

Truckdrivin' Buddha (Rock Hardy), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:45 (twenty-one years ago)

sometimes i find it easiest to use the search bar and then just click "images" on the results page!

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 25 July 2005 01:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Only when I'm trapped in a page that isn't loading and I know the back button is an even harder to load search page. Home is my reset button.
