This is the thread for the rescheduled 4th Poptimism night.

It's back, it's Summer, it's on a Friday, it's on the 19th August, it's downstairs at the Polar Bear, I personally am going to ensure that it is the best Poptimism EVER.

£2 in, £4 after 10, cheap drinks all night, thinks kick off at about 7.30, we have a doorperson who is itching to keep undesirables out too.

It was a very good turnout that night - but I don't know how much the Times had to do with it. I think being on a Friday night will make more of a difference. I suspect the Guide and the Saturday times are more useful if you're on a Saturday or Sunday.

I somehow seem to have ended up with THREE bottles of pink wine for tonight. One is even strawberry wine (and fizzy to boot!) - I did several shops at the weekend, and every time I thought "oh, rehearsal at mine this week, better get some pink wine" and bought another bottle. Only to get home and find bottle(s) already in the fridge! Oh my!

I knew you would say that Matt, but The Lex was even drunker on Friday than I was that night. Proof being that I was still actually capable of at least staggering, and coherent enough to haggle with the driver of the cab Swygart and Dom P put me in - and I remember pretty much everything that happened.

On the other hand I was bed ridden for most of the following day whereas Our Indie Darling here was able to go and play tennis for Cliff's sake.
