Jimmy Mod Is Sick of Being The Best At Everything (ModJ), Monday, 25 July 2005 14:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Kurt Russell, Bruce Campbell, Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald...I'll give it a shot.

Jordan (Jordan), Monday, 25 July 2005 14:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Bruce Campbell is going to be here in a couple weeks to sign his new book Making Love the Bruce Campbell Way!

I was checking the imdb for this hoping there were Kids In The Hall in it. Unfortunately, that's a negatory good buddy.

YOU ARE STRONG!

That part of the commercial makes me laugh. But, I'll wait for cable though I love Kurt Russell. "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes," man!

Candicissima (candicissima), Monday, 25 July 2005 16:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude!

rest of cast listed alphabetically:
Dave Foley .... Mr. Boy
Kevin McDonald .... Mr. Medulla

Jordan (Jordan), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:11 (twenty-one years ago)

haha, I meant to type "more Kids In The Hall"! D'oh.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:17 (twenty-one years ago)

It looks really really bad though -- it looks like one of those made for tv movies they put on the Disney channel.

Leon C. (Ex Leon), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I.... kinda wanna see it, I confess.

Shakey Mo Collier, Monday, 25 July 2005 17:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I kinda like how it shamelessly rips on the Harry Potter kid-who-doesn't-know-how-bad-ass-he-is-goes-to-school-and-OMG-super-powers!! template.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Plus Kurt Russell looks like he had a great time in this role, and he's kinda, you know, awesome.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Er... you know that template existed about 8 bazillion years before Harry Potter, yes?

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:39 (twenty-one years ago)

DAN MY MIND IT HAS BEEN BLOWN WHERE'S MY BREAKFAST

David R. (popshots75`), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:41 (twenty-one years ago)

OMG!

The Ghost of Referencing The Most Recent Modelalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 25 July 2005 17:43 (twenty-one years ago)

how did i not know this existed until today, opening day? i want to see this. like, now.

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Friday, 29 July 2005 15:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Hmm, this looks kinda lame, but that cast...! Maybe on video.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 29 July 2005 16:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Sparkle Motion's Rising Force, Friday, 29 July 2005 17:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Guys, this isn't just a cheesy super-hero movie. It's a cheesy super-hero TEEN movie! It was like Harry Potter meets Justice League meets SIXTEEN CANDLES, complete with modernized cover versions of CLASSIC 80s SONGS. I don't know if I was enthused or appalled by this surprise development.

It is, however, extremely entertaining, I have no shame in admitting. Kevin "Farva" Heffernan makes an excellent appearance as apparently the only character in the movie lacking some kind of super power.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 2 August 2005 12:46 (twenty-one years ago)

i thought it was a pretty poor little brother to the incredibles. had a real "YTV" (ie pre-teen television) aesthetic to it that i found unbearable

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 2 August 2005 12:51 (twenty-one years ago)

nine months pass...
this was tweelicious and had a hint of early buffy.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Sunday, 28 May 2006 00:29 (twenty years ago)
