Bunnicula was awesome. As a former elementary school teacher, I tried everything to get my students to read outside of class. This series was a major hit with the lils.

A family with two adolescent boys and a cat named Chester and a dog called Howie adopt a new pet bunny, and soon they start to notice that all the vegetables in the house are turning WHITE, like they have had their life's juices SUCKED out of them. So Chester and Howie turn detective, and hijinks ensue. The second book has something to do with the boy's science fair, and Howliday Inn is all about a vacation gone wrong.
