The delivery numbers I have are flakey at best; anyone know what's reliable?

You gotta stand under the bridge singing "Space Cowboy" in a long green dress, then when the operative approachs and asks for a cigarette you hit him as hard as you can in the bridge of the nose and run.
The next day, a package will be on your doorstep.

the goulash archipelago (Jody Beth Rosen), Thursday, 4 August 2005 23:45 (twenty years ago)

Don't listen to that! Goulash is a K Direktorat MOLE.

Beth Parker, Friday, 5 August 2005 12:05 (twenty years ago)

1. Look for a guy dressed as a police officer. (Trust me, he's not.)
2. As a greeting, punch him in the nuts as hard as you can.

At some point in the future (after a thrilling adventure) you will get your weed.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 5 August 2005 12:08 (twenty years ago)

i love you, dan.

the goulash archipelago (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 5 August 2005 12:14 (twenty years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 5 August 2005 12:19 (twenty years ago)

don't move to park slope/lower brooklyn.

cutty (mcutt), Friday, 5 August 2005 12:19 (twenty years ago)

ian, i know a guy, i'll try to work things out. he doesn't deliver, though.

cutty (mcutt), Friday, 5 August 2005 12:19 (twenty years ago)

If the punching doesn't result in package delivery you could try a big labrador retriever-style face-licking to the first person (dressed as a National Guardsman) that you see.

Beth Parker, Friday, 5 August 2005 12:35 (twenty years ago)

Were you hoping someone would post a dealer's phone number on the internet? craziness...

paulhw (paulhw), Friday, 5 August 2005 13:07 (twenty years ago)

Ask Broken Social Scene.

It's a damn shame that people are just letting this thread die.

It should have been locked and then framed after Dan's post.

First, you start with a seed and some dirt.

Aimless (Aimless), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 17:34 (twenty years ago)

as someone that doesn't live in NYC, I'm sort of reading this as "How do I find weed in a densely populated cultural center that has relatively lax drug laws AND REALLY AMAZING WEED?"

matlewis (matlewis), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 17:56 (twenty years ago)

relatively lax drug laws

uhhh.... compared to Thailand, maybe.

Outsider Enter Port City (sexyDancer), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 17:58 (twenty years ago)

matlewis, mr. johnson has just moved to said area and has yet to make any "connections"

cutty (mcutt), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 18:00 (twenty years ago)

AND REALLY AMAZING WEED
Compared to Siberia maybe.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 18:03 (twenty years ago)

It can vary. A local purchase impressed a Californian the other day.

Outsider Enter Port City (sexyDancer), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 18:05 (twenty years ago)

Usually the best stuff around here is from New York. Basically I'm just going on the myths and legends folks at University of Maryland spread about nyc.

matlewis (matlewis), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 18:07 (twenty years ago)

you'd be more likely to get lousy coke at siberia, unless you mean the actual siberia.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 18:25 (twenty years ago)

Erm.. that was what i meant.

i take it Siberia is a nyc club??? (of all the bloody random places for me to pick)

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 9 August 2005 18:29 (twenty years ago)

Super Cub (Debito), Thursday, 22 June 2006 01:52 (nineteen years ago)

already tried that, it's a poor substitute

def zep (calstars), Thursday, 22 June 2006 02:01 (nineteen years ago)

strangest thing that has ever happened to me. after 15 years of smoking, I just quit cold. no cravings. I've tried in the past, and managed a week or two at best. I guess I finally had my fill? Is this even possible? I wasn't even planing on quiting. My last bag ran out, and I never bothered to get another. It's only been about 60 days now, so I can't say it's forever, but zero cravings?! I hope I'm not going to die or anything crazy like that.

nicky lo-fi (nicky lo-fi), Thursday, 22 June 2006 08:40 (nineteen years ago)

maybe you mind just suddenly went "after 15 years of experimenting I feel it's safe to say that this drug is fucking boring"

Thomas Tallis (Tommy), Thursday, 22 June 2006 11:15 (nineteen years ago)

I packed sugar in my coffee in much the same way. Drank it w/2 sugars from the age of 13 to 38, one day the bag ran out, ah I'll have it without (as I have done when no sugar) but then oh, don't want any. And apart from occasionally adding it by accident/rote, never did since.

Oh, all the wonderful tastes of coffee I then experienced anew. And Tea Too...

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 22 June 2006 11:26 (nineteen years ago)

I had the same experience as you Mark except in reverse - disdained sugar in coffee for years, then was served a "coffee regular" at a deli in Manhattan and said to myself "that's pretty tasty, whaddaya know"

at home it's all black coffee all the time though

Thomas Tallis (Tommy), Thursday, 22 June 2006 11:37 (nineteen years ago)

look for the rastafarian behind the glazed window in the back of the health food store, PW = "you are a beautiful woman"
