when i click on page 2 of search results it has removed selected words from my search query, broadening my search!! if i click on page 3, it's all been reduced to one word! so for instance -- "farther along" chords -- becomes -- farther along chords -- becomes -- farther. i do not want this?! it's been like this all day for me, is this happening to anyone else?

try manually editing the url -- i.e. setting the "start=" to what you want, and see if that hacks around the problem?

look, do this. enter a multiword query. scroll to the bottom. what is in the text entry field for me is just the first word of my search, so that when i hit "2" or "next" for the next page of results it just searches the cruelly foreshortened versh of my query!! it is infuriating!!

has google started ignoring quotation marks in searches?
if you type a phrase surrounded by quotes, the old behavior was to return only pages with those words in that exact order with that exact spelling. it doesn't seem to be working that way anymore...?
