So at first glance it seems like a nice just-desserts story about some guy who avoided justice until it finally caught up with him. Then I read about how the victim was a known thief. Then I read that this known thief robbed Cheong's wife and held a knife to her sister's throat. Then I read how his own wife left it 20 years then shopped him, out of pure spite. And now I'm thinking his wife is one of the shittiest persons alive right now.

The tone of the Beeb article rankles, it's all 'hurrah, isn't it great we finally got this bad bad man!' when surely the most interesting thing here is the betrayal by his wife. But what do you people think?

With the gun in my hands I'm a bad man
Even in a fight with the hands I'm a bad man
Livin in the UK half my life I'm a bad man
I'm a bad man, I'm a bad man
