Classic or Dud? Finishing the weekend with a bang, or a party too far?

Now that I'm old, there has to be a damn good excuse for some proper partying on a school night.

It would be good if the djs on sundays werent so consistently shite. Going to see Basement Jaxx on Sunday, as I did at the weekend, is undoubtedly classic though. However the dj in the club afterwards almost managed to kill our considerably high buzz by not mixing right and playing the same funky house he started the night with all night. never built it up at all.

Sunday drinking is about as classic as you can get, but I do not know about Sunday clubbing. Sunday drinking often lends itself to a RETREAT! at about 8ish or which is a lot nicer and chilled than the more manic YOU MUST ENJOY YOURSELF NOW Saturday atmosphere. Who fancies a pint in Brixton on Sunday OR 2 for 1 cocktails at the Living Room hurrah.

I'll come out to Brixton Sunday. Like, maybe we could go to the Mucky Duck again. Maybe we won't be the only punters. Living Room is a bit ectic, at the best of times. Sunday, it'll be totally biryani.

Gawd, thursday night is our office party (some party, see other thread for moan). It finishes at 3am, so I should be home around 4. Work at 9am? I think not (I won't be able to drive, so my 25 minute commute will become 90 minutes)

Would stay up, but I'll be feeling like death and it's T&F Friday night and there's a CD-R waiting for me...

the point of this thread being that sussed may be moving to a sunday, apparently we're pencilled in for beginning of feb, but nothing confirmed, just yet. in other sussed-related news latrinos likely to be no more sniff...

I fear sunday clubbing (til 12.30pm) is mainly for STUDENTS and people who can't stop drinking at 10.30 (however, these are clearly OUR KIND of people)
