that's what has been popping in and out of my head all day, and I don't know where it came from. It's not even correct, I just realised it's supposed to be 'melting pot'. Does this ever happen to you?

sometimes i have difficulty naming everyday objects. often when i am hungover. i remember one time i could not for the LIFE of me remember the word "kettle". this of course greatly amused everyone, except me. i thought i was cracking up!

For the longest time I thought it was "mountain pot". I pictured a dormant volcano crater big enough to take the world and all its got. Mountain tops are lonely places whereas the mountain pot would be a party. Obviously I had it all worked out. Now I have to think about that mountain bike. Hmmm.
