People removing "W" stickers from their vehicles: C/D?

I just saw this twice on my way back from work... this is seperate from the, haha, "non-willful" vandalization of a "W" stickered SUV just outside my work building today (in Redmond, WA) just after lunch. (Broken windows, spray paint, dents, etc. I mentioned this on the Katrina political thread. A couple of cops were there and everything.)

On one hand, i'd LIKE to believe this is being done out of disgust given recent events...

But to be realistic, I think they're doing it because they don't to have their vehicle vandalized... in which case -- and it's something we should keep in mind -- those stickers are functionally "invisible" and not "gone"

But either case, I say Classic...

...Because the thought of seeing those goddamn Fugly things on vehicles now makes me want to upper deck their engine.

Well then they shouldn't live or park in bad neighborhoods. They should achieve and get out of there.

Dud. Those jerks voted for him and NOW they realize? They should have to get tattoos or something. Unless, of course, someone else stuck the sticker on their car.

May as well. I took down my Kerry/Edwards yard sign on the day after Election Day.

the posh suvs in the posh suburbs around here have these classy-looking W stickers, like they're white on black and the W is in a nice serif font, very understated. Not like the garish redwhiteandblue W stickers on the plebe SUVs in the other suburbs.

right after election day of last year, i was riding coach class on an amtrak heading out to california, and i got to overhear lots of election-related conversations from passengers belonging to varying races and social strata. not one of those passengers, not a single fucking one, was glad bush won. in fact, they were pretty damn pissed off about it and had some colorful language to illustrate why.

who is this "majority" of voters that elected the guy?

Beware the Pauline Kael fallacy...

I know you meant to be sarcastic, here :) but -- for the record -- both incidents I saw happening were in very cushy suburbs.

Should your desire give way to action, I will pay cash for photographic evidence of it. Just saying.
