Everyone agrees this is wrong.

(Also, it was reckonned that they got the casting the wrong way around in Velvet Goldmine, that Rhys Meyers should have played Iggy and MacGreggor should have played Bowie, but I'm not sure that I agree with that sentiment. Though apparently MacGregor got a lot of the studio mannerisms spookily spot on.)

What about the rest of the cast? Who's gonna play the Asheton Bros?

Nah, he's about my height, maybe slightly taller. Between 5'10" and 6'?

Iggy, however, is about 2 inches tall. Apparently the only people he can stand next to and not feel short are Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise! He's really tiny.
