LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - An angry San Diego topless dancer pulled out a knife and stabbed a customer after he refused a lap dance, police said on Thursday.

Lawanda Dixon, 24, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon shortly after the altercation with 33-year-old Melik Jordan at the Dream Girls Cabaret early on Wednesday, San Diego police Det. Gary Hassen said.

"He was in the club with some friends watching the shows when she came up and asked if he wanted a lap dance," Hassen said. "He said no, she got upset about it, they argued back and forth. She pulled knife out of her bag and stabbed him."

Dixon was taken into custody and police found methamphetamine in a small metal container in Dixon's bag, Hassen said, adding that she may face drug charges. Officers also confiscated a small folding knife.

Jordan was treated for his injuries and released by a local hospital.

I have "received" table dances in San Diego, but not lap dances. I didn't see anywhere the young women would have kept their knives, but one never knows.

So am I the only one assuming this guy presented overly specific reasons for not wanting this lapdance, and am I the only one amusing himself by imagining exactly what those reasons were? (I.e., "OPO: Things you could say to a stripper that would piss her off badly enough to stab you.")

on my bachelor party, i told one stripper/lapdancer that she really just didn't seem too into it. she got pretty upset. she tried to tell me she had a cold.

but i also got a free t-bone steak because i got 5 lapdances at the same time. (one of the girls slapped me for fun right before she did a summersault into my lap). i had already eaten, so i told them i didnt' want the steak. they gave me an icecream sundae. i ended up feeding the sundae to the girls on the stage.
