all i know is that on the poster it looks like he's EATING HER FACE. and his head is like, SIX times bigger than hers. freaky.

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 00:33 (twenty years ago)

I can't stop thinking about her huge forehead.

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 00:34 (twenty years ago)

Lovelace (Lovelace), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 00:37 (twenty years ago)

She is very lovely in that film.

estela (estela), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

She's great in The Hot Chick.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 04:29 (twenty years ago)

hahaha, she is too. she has TALENT.

and HOTTNESS.

N_RQ (Enrique), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 12:51 (twenty years ago)

the hot chick? that's the film with rob schneider, right? I have a strong aversion towards him....but if Rach is in it I'll see it!

why dont women today dress like they did in the 40's?

Lovelace (Lovelace), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 14:53 (twenty years ago)

lovelace, i agree about the dress issue.

but hilary duff is hotter than mcadams

McAdams has features, yes, but there is nothing between them. I try to remember what her face looks like, and I get eyes, and I suppose a mouth (though really more lipstick than an actual "mouth" underneath it), and then ... hmm. I mean, there must be a nose there somewhere, but she probably wouldn't look that different without it. And then ... there's no face behind there, is there? Like, skin and stuff? Cause I'm just getting eyes and mouth on a blank, with some hair around it. She looks like a really abstract doll, or a drawing, or something. She has no details.

I'm sad that Hilary Duff doesn't look like Miss Piggy anymore.

Actually, wait, I'm having fun with this image thing and I didn't realize originally that McA is a blonde. Here:

Laurel (Laurel), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 19:41 (twenty years ago)

in a way you're right nabisco. there is nothing extraordinary about her looks(especially if you come from where I'm from). however I'm still very much drawn to her. I love her eyes, smile and lips. but perhaps it's mostly the characther she played, the setting, the clothes etc. I'm such a sucker for these kind of romantic films

Lovelace (Lovelace), Tuesday, 13 September 2005 23:42 (twenty years ago)

Her fivehead makes her look kind of alien. Or 'special.'

haha come on that's not exactly a complimentary picture.

if you've seen the notebook you know what I'm talking about

Red Eye! "where's your male-driven fact based logic now, Jack?"

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Monday, 31 October 2005 03:52 (twenty years ago)

is that a good film?

Lovelace (Lovelace), Monday, 31 October 2005 04:46 (twenty years ago)

ile sure is hornier than i remember it

strongo hulkington's ghost (dubplatestyle), Monday, 31 October 2005 04:51 (twenty years ago)

Is that it? Or is it that you can't admit you have the same problem?

Jimmy Mod Is The Damnation (The Famous Jimmy Mod), Monday, 31 October 2005 05:34 (twenty years ago)

i'm as horny as i ever was

strongo hulkington's ghost (dubplatestyle), Monday, 31 October 2005 05:35 (twenty years ago)

Maybe more?

Jimmy Mod Is The Damnation (The Famous Jimmy Mod), Monday, 31 October 2005 05:36 (twenty years ago)

Red Eye people! Red Eye!

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Monday, 31 October 2005 05:43 (twenty years ago)

She is cuet in person and tiny and well proportioned. she claimed to have gone to the toronto film festival as a judge for the canadian films and that she rode her bike to the screenings. she is adorable; perhaps better as a brunette.

Jimmy Mod Is The Damnation (The Famous Jimmy Mod), Monday, 31 October 2005 05:46 (twenty years ago)

my friend who had a short in the toronto film fest sang karaoke with her! she totally hang with the short filmmakers which is pretty cool

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 31 October 2005 05:53 (twenty years ago)

i couldn't quite get the missus to see 'red eye' in the cinema, but it's a lock for dvd, surely. i'll try talking up cillian murphy or some shit.

Theorry Henry (Enrique), Monday, 31 October 2005 09:43 (twenty years ago)

ten months pass...
ok, i saw 'red eye'. except for the line sterling quoted, it's one of the least self-aware films i've seen all year. it's not bad, i guess; just kind of pre-griffiths in its simplicity. kind of expected a twist. climax was too much like 'scream'. rachel is lovely, though.

she is very cute.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Monday, 11 September 2006 09:08 (nineteen years ago)

i found the full quote:

"Whatever female-based, emotion-driven dilemma you may be dealing with right now, you have my sympathy. But right now, we need to break this down into male-based, fact-driven logic."

excellent.

a rapper singing about hos and bitches and money (Enrique), Monday, 11 September 2006 09:13 (nineteen years ago)

red eye would have been better if the fact that they were on a plane had been relevant to the plot at all (instead of waiting till it landed to actually do anything)

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 11 September 2006 11:39 (nineteen years ago)

it is one of the most pointlessly elaborate assassinations of all time. he doesn't need to be with her in the plane. he probably didn't need to tail her for eight weeks. there was probably another way of firing a fucking missile at the guy. etc.

a rapper singing about hos and bitches and money (Enrique), Monday, 11 September 2006 11:42 (nineteen years ago)

i know!!

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 11 September 2006 11:42 (nineteen years ago)

I cannot believe there is a horndog thread about R. McA. without mentioning her finest and hottest performance, playing Regina George in Mean Girls. "Boo, you whore."

Haikunym (Haikunym), Monday, 11 September 2006 12:03 (nineteen years ago)

goes without saying!

a rapper singing about hos and bitches and money (Enrique), Monday, 11 September 2006 12:03 (nineteen years ago)

Red Eye seemed way less far-fetched than The Notebook.

Eric H. (Eric H.), Monday, 11 September 2006 15:43 (nineteen years ago)

I would have admired The Notebook more had Ryan Gosling actually taken his clothes off.
