I wrote a poem when I was about twelve called "Sea of Umbrellas".

I can only remember the first line - 'This city, from above, is a sea of umbrellas'.

I wish I could think what the rest of it was and if the next line was made to rhyme. I doubt it.

A little while ago, I was on a tube train, and a fiorucci umbrella was hanging from a rail by the doors, central. It was obviously no-ones, but I left it. How much is one of those things anyway?

I owned an umbrella for three days once but it broke and I never got another.
