MF the New York Times in the A.

B-b-but it contains special interactive features with genuine New York Times columnists like David Brooks.* And it lets you see the news the way you want -- with customizable email alerts, a personalized library of stories, and the ability to file, sort, and organize pieces however you like. It's all free with your subscription. It's your world -- and The Times is the tool for keeping you informed and inspired about every aspect of it.

* Special features do not include Maureen Dowd webcam.

On the plus side I like that they're getting their entire archive online -- right now it goes back to sometime around the 60s, I think, and supposedly it's getting loaded all the way to the beginning.

I'm thinking the way to go is to subscribe to the physical newsprint version and then you get the select as part of that.

The way to go is to figure some way to read Frank Rich for free.

I think you get it with any subscription, too -- so you could do a Sundays-only thing, kick back with that fattie on the weekends, and get full web access the rest of the time.

I really appreciate everyone's pragmatic advice. But, emotionally, what I really need right now, is for you all to hate on the times with me.

OK everyone together now: MF The NYT in the A

Masters of Fine the New York Times in the Arts?

nabisco (nabisco), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:04 (twenty years ago)

I'm all in favor of the DowdCam(tm) idea. It's now! It's happening!

Aimless (Aimless), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:08 (twenty years ago)

Aimless, didn't I see you on The Odd Couple once, with a foulard around your neck?

k/l (Ken L), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:09 (twenty years ago)

Ken L's girlfriend is not really all that fat.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:10 (twenty years ago)

Once you get her clothes off.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:10 (twenty years ago)

Is there a website that publishes Krugman's columns that doesn't require NY Times registration? I thought I'd seen it before.

o. nate (onate), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:19 (twenty years ago)

I will totally sign up as soon as their archive goes back to 1851. Can you imagine? It will be wonderful.

Like Our Dumb Century but REAL!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:21 (twenty years ago)

If you want to talk about firing up fatties on Sunday, I think you are on the wrong board, Tracer.

"The China-man, Will He Ever Replace the Machine?"

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:31 (twenty years ago)

Whoops!
"The Machine: Will it Replace the China-Man?"

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 19 September 2005 20:33 (twenty years ago)

Has a cypherpunks-style account been established for this yet?

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 23 September 2005 18:03 (twenty years ago)

I thought this would be a thread about some shitty new font.

dan m (OutDatWay), Friday, 23 September 2005 18:10 (twenty years ago)
