Ghost horse, pond road, blackheath

Is there anybody who has heard of Pond Road in Blakheath in London being haunted by a horse. My partner and myself were both woken at 1am by the sound of a horse outside our ground floor bedroom window. You could hear its hooves, its breathing, the bushe surroundind our flat was being disturbed. The noise moved round to our front window which then triggered our security light. We were looking out the windows but could see nothing??????????????????????????
