I like like it a bit (those lines quoted above were great) but it seems the characters are too stuck in their conceptions to be interesting for very long. JL is always earnest and persistant, the sidekick is always dumb and childlike, Joy and her husband get off better, but not much. I think I only watch it because it's on before The Office.

My guilty low-brow pleasure was Reba, the two female leads have a good rapport.

she expands and contracts over seasons. its fun to watch. jerry stiller is mostly wasted by the writing but the main guy bitching under his breath in a 4th grade way comes off pretty well and makes it easy to watch for me. its seems kind of weird to be all hip or highbrow about television. especially sitcoms.

I can't watch this show because of him. The Butterfly Effect ruined him for me, as did Cold Mountain, the worst movie I've seen in the past three years.
