So I flirted with a girl who work at the same place as I do, during the christmas office party.
Help this idiot ASAP by sharing your book and/or street wisdom and/or share a similar story, I need data fast because I'll face the whole cast of this psychodrama later today!

Put on a winning smile and say you've dedicated yourself to chastity since you last saw her.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 24 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Was it alchool or was it love? If that was a country song I would listen to it a couple of time right about now. Yes, courteous kind behaviour is the only way to go. She was not working today. The only strange thing was when came the time to wish eachother merry christmas n'yadayada a coworker that witnessed the debacle shook my hand hard enough to hurt me a bit, to remind me that he is the alpha male? :>

The Hegemon, Monday, 24 December 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Shag her.

yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no?yes?no? WHATS GOING ON?! With the cards. I.D. C.A.R.D.S. I'm probably making this bigger than it is (it could be). She likes to have the attention of guys, and probably is used to have lots of "unusually good connection" with a lot of them, each different from another and equally interesting? It was unusual to me tho and it was great. I think I'll write her, but I don't know what yet. Inviting her to see Solvent and Lowfish for newyears eve would be pointless: what would be my goal doing this, ne? Should I get myself a drink? Yoop-là-dee and I submit

make sure the potential gains are worth the potential uncomfotrable office situation

What happened?

yes please! ongoing stories are great. In fact, anyone else who's involved in a tenuous romantic situation and wants to start a thread about it ... please do.

Dating co-worker = no problem (unless you are only dating them because you have to see them every day and it's easier than not dating them but if you didn't have to see them every day you wouldn't date them - know what I mean?)

It can work, in my experience, if you're not directly working with each other (i.e. superior and subordinate).. I once went out with someone in the same department but we didn't actually work together so we didn't get in each other's faces and it was fine. Plus it made lunch hour rather nice too.

lunch hour in lust = getting in each other's faces

remember, it's better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done.

Anna, Wednesday, 27 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

electric sound of jim, Wednesday, 27 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

No, it's nothing like that at all. Unless you play 'continental rules'.
