As long as she's thoroughly picked over and rinsed (and preferably pre-soaked), and then well-cooked, she's a great gal I need to get back to preparing. Tasty, nutritious, gently high-fiber.

(Even though this is an "in praise of," I don't really mind if people want to post anti-Condi Rice rants here too, not that anyone is likely to be overly concerned about my feelings in the matter, but anyway.)

I volunteered for a while at this food bank, and they had a mouse problem. The little critters left brown rice-shaped feces everywhere. The guy who ran the place called them "Condi Rice." It was sorta funny.
