Most lovely, peaceful games ever!

www.gamesofgondor.com also has one or two worth looking at. Especially twink stealing princess, you get to beat up Orko lookalikes, more satisfying than I can say.

I like the grow RPG one. Grow cube is pretty good but not as good as that.

Hurting (Hurting), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 20:37 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, GrowRPG showing the little animation of how far the hero gets is great. But disappointing til you get it right. The guys who make's them is pretty talented I'd say.

Craig Gilchrist (Craig Gilchrist), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 21:02 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, the RPG was easier to figure out because the cause/effect relationships between some of the items were clearer. I got about one step short of figuring out the cube and gave up and looked up the solution on line.

I had a good time with Mansion Impossible today. Sort of a whack-a-mole real estate game. Sort of.

But my first stop is always the Jay Is games site. A great games blog. Doesn't just throw up the links, he (or they, now) gives a gameplay review and has a hefty archive. That site has really skyrocketed in popularity of late (and now I notice that the Mansion Impossible game is their latest entry - but I saw it on del.icio.us)

Really fun and interesting. Great animation syncing.

Wow, I just managed to solve Grow Cube. That was kinda awesome!

Casuistry (Chris P), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 03:36 (twenty years ago)

What do you mean, "solve?"

Guitarzan, Wednesday, 5 October 2005 21:48 (twenty years ago)

i thought the title was talking about Flesh games.

jay blanchard (jay blanchard), Thursday, 6 October 2005 01:07 (twenty years ago)

What do you mean, 'what do you mean "solve"?' There is a correct answer, it says "congratulations", etc.

This is fun but, like TextTwist, exhaustion sets in before you lose a life (I'm at 622 points now and it is getting harder but still I haven't lost a life and I think I'm done with it).

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 6 October 2005 04:31 (twenty years ago)

that was a perfect opportunity to start a pardoy thread.

why the hell does the GUY still have his clothes on?!

There's a great flash game with gorgeous animation whose name I can't remember. It involves a canyon and this guy, and the guy has to go around the canyon figuring out why his town's water supply stopped working, and it mostly involves turning valves to open and close different pipes. Anyone know it?

Puzzle game + snapping necks and blowing stuff up = endless fun

A-ron Hubbard (Hurting), Friday, 6 October 2006 05:55 (nineteen years ago)

That is seriously lagged up. I couldn't make it through the demo for lack of patience.

I haven't had that problem. But I can't get past mission 16 - something seems to be wrong. FUCK!
