EYES CAN'T SEE

I've got a terrible case of eyestrain, mostly from staring too much at my laptop screen. It may also havre to do with the lighting here. One way or another, I can barely read anything without tension building up in my eyes. This sid e of keep9ing a blindfold on all day, what can I do? Things I've been trying: watching my thumb out at arm's length and moving it in circles and x's, trying to blink more often, looking at things far away.

I'm actually typing this without looking at the screen.

Intentionally put your eyes out of focus and let them drift back into focus. Peep around the edges of your glasses.

I'm trying the looking-skewed-eye thing, and it helps a little, but it reminds me that my peripheral vision seems to be getting a bit worse, too. Like I have constant tunnel vision.

Go outside and look at things that are far away.

every 20-30 minutes, look away from the monitor and stare out the window or into the far corner of the room. Look back & look away a few times for 30-60 seconds.

Also, make sure you're not holding your neck too tight. Let your head drop forward and pick it back up.
