Fire Drills c/d

I say classic, although we haven't had one for almost a year. We had a callout last summer about an hour before the end of my shift. After 20 minutes lying out in the sunshine it became apparent we wouldn't be going back in before the end of the day, so after registering we all drifted off home.

Don't stop to collect your belongings? Fffff! Jacket, bag, mobile, won't be hanging around to pick up files mind you.

I signed for the OH&S Club so that I could stay behind during fire drills--ostensibly to check for stragglers--and rifle through people's desk for loose change.

classic!

anything that results in me getting away from my desk is a winner in my eyes.

What, even if it involves standing cold drizzle without a coat? Rumpie, I thought you lived in Scotland. Obviously I was mistaken.
