Portland had its first Rose City Rollergirls match last month. I think they expected 500, and they got over 2500 folks showing up. The line was so long they delayed the start by 30 minutes just to get everybody in.
I'm kinda curiously as to what other 60s/70s american working-class culture will be resurrected and re-purposed for twentysomethings.
I'm hoping it will be minor league hockey.
Y'know, Old-Tyme Hockey, like Eddie Schor.
