'The Krays' film

I saw this years ago and thought it was complete crap, but I watched it again the other night and thought it was really good. (Does that happen to you a lot?) What do you think the director was trying to say with this? An appetite for extreme violence gives somebody that competitive advantage? The fabled East End was a terminally sick society? Or that it was all Mum's fault? Whatever, I thought it was good.

They only answered their own

The Kemp brothers impressed me (never thought I'd type that). Didn't like the twins as mystical forces of evil vibe + I guess it was too much to expect it to let a little daylight in on the myth of the Krays which always struck me as a bit tawdry, though Jay Z would doubtless approve.

That's right, they were Spandau Ballet? Please don't laugh at me if I got that wrong.

Yep they were in Spandua Ballet, Gary wrote the songs, Martin was on bass, and woowed the girls (including my wife as it turned out) with his mean, moody good looks. Now does more or less the same thing on EastEnders.

"The fabled East End was a terminally sick society"
Dude, it produced my family. What do you expect?
