It is my life's aim to publicly expose and kill a mystery shopper.

Screw getting a MCSE

The MSPA recognizes that Mystery Shopping is a profession, not just a hobby. As in the case of other professions we believe that a means of addressing shopper standardization, education and certification is necessary. In response to this need, we have developed this on-line Silver Certification program and a more in-depth Gold Certificate program to be offered in person. Companies are always looking to hire the best and brightest, and this certification is one method of setting you apart from the crowd.

There are ads for this on the radio station I listen to (which is all 40s type music, "the music of your life") and they are upsetting.

I used to work at a market research place where we tallied mystery customers' surveys for B4rcl4ys B4nk. The 'customers' between them would wind up having to do over their branch visits MANY times because quite a few were just plain incompetent.

I do mystery shopping from time to time. I get free food and cinema tickets and stuff occasionally. And I get paid for it as well.

I wonder if indie records stores ever do mystery shopping programs. "The clerk wasn't a big enough prick." "The 311 poster wasn't displayed ironically enough."

"I asked for Britney Spears and got neither a weary sigh NOR an eye roll! Incompetence!"
