Ok yeah so!

Clueless (obviously great)
WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER (!!!! jacket and plate scene! he is fucking impossibly great in this)
ROMEO + JULIET (haha ok yes I know you all hate this but BEST PARIS EVER, seriously, it's totally unclear how he could possibly be any better in this movie)

Come anticipate "The OH in Ohio" with me!

Fuckin' rad as Brian Fontana in Anchorman (...and if you're lucky, you just might get to meet the whole gang!')

He's even good on Friends!!! But nothing beats
"What are you doing?"
"Writing in my gurnal" from WHAS.. except plate scene.

very good in "The Object of my Desire" too. i really like him but he is a bit limited. maybe relies too much on little-boy-lost look?

he was funny in 40yearoldvirgin. he is good at being funny sometimes.

Pretty bad in "The Shape of Things"

― milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Sunday, 9 October 2005 01:01 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, but everyone looked bad in that. one of the worst movies of the last 50 years.

God, i saw "The Shape of Things" on a semi-date at a mall art-house back in michigan. Bleah. My semi-date LOVED it, tho.

that movie where he was going to kill himself... not outstanding but ok when it comes on tv on a sat afternoon and there's nothing better to watch.

I watched the "The 40-year-old Virgin" yesterday with my friend and we were just saying how Paul Rudd remains unbelievably crush-able since our days watching "Clueless" on repeat when we were 12.

He can be a little one-note, sure, but come on, the guy's a scene stealer in practically everything!

― Roz (Roz), Sunday, 9 October 2005 13:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I will be shameless and say that as Phoebe's boyfriend on friends he was highly crushable as well (while still having some really annoying qualities: key to every character on that show, obv.)

He's in a Boston sketch troupe originally, no?

two years pass...

finally saw "diggers" last night, really liked it. low-key, low-stakes, great cast (maura tierney should be in more things).
