My much-anticipated new laptop is arriving soon, but I have no idea what insurance to get for it. My student possessions policy only covers it in my room and 'direct transit' home, plus I'll be spending more time away from uni than there this year. We checked about adding it to parent's home contents, but that has a low £ limit and no worldwide cover. Also, they have it via saga, which doesn't like young 'uns.
Anyone know a legit company that will give me a worldwide theft/accidental damage cover on about £2000 worth of equipment? I have the Apple APP but of course, that's only for when the machine itself fails.
